Hello, I have been MIA, but I am back and ready to go! Baby G is 5 months and 2 days, crazy! He got baptized 6 days short of his 4 months bday. At 4.5 months we went for his check-up and he measured at 27 inches and 20.5 lbs. Amazing!!! The NP had mentioned when he was younger that he would probably be slow in his motor development because of his weight, but he is right on track and advanced in some of his motor skills. Baby G surprises me everyday. Luan had been mentioning that he was moving and scooching on his playmate doing a 180 degree turn, yea right. Well everyone he did it today, I have it on video and when he got bored, he rolled onto his back all by himself. Where did my little Baby go? Who is the big boy in front of me? LOL, I am crazy but I am trying to hold onto his baby days so much!!!!
So what have we done this past month??
1. Gio went to his first movie, SATC 2! He accompanied me and Mary with baby Emma to Cry Baby Matinee. It was awesome and he slept through the whole movie.
2. Tons of play dates with Mary and Baby Emma, we still haven't made it to the big play group but we will get there hopefully soon.
3. Scooching and pulling while on his tummy, moving if he needs to get his toys.
4. Full grasp of toys, he has been doing that for a while, but now it goes straight into his mouth, before he would just open his mouth but toy would end up by his ear, lol.
5. Tripod sitting, so cute.
6. Full lovely gummy smiles, all the time, camera or not.
7. Poop sessions has slowed down to every 3 days, now we are back on track lets hope it stays that way.
8. Napping is great, night time we are still working on it.
9. First roadtrip to SA for Danny and Denise's wedding. To SA, first 5 min and he was out the whole trip. Awesome. To Houston, first hour varied from happy to fullout crying. I don't blame him, he was just overstimulated, too much going on and too many hands. He likes to be carried but I think it was too much and he had a fit. We pulled over twice, the second time he finally slept, poor little one and stayed that way the rest of the trip home. Otherwise it was very successful. He met so many new family members and did so well, but when he was done being in a crowd, he would let us know. We would take him out of it and he was so calm. The minute we got back to the hotel he would be giggling and cooing, so playful. He is so spoiled, I just do not know where he gets that from? hmm? anywhoo...
10. Still eating the same, sometimes when I am gone, he wont eat as much or nap, when I am home, he is back on track.

12. Drumroll please.....Hello Little Bottom Tooth!!! I haven't felt it while he breastfeeds yet, thankfully! Oh Baby G be nice to Mommy! But he was cranky, so I was looking in his mouth and saw his gums inflamed. So I was feeling around and sure enough something sharp got my attention, I thought I had put it in his mouth. Nope closer inspection, his tooth is cutting the gums, ouch! Poor Baby! But wow, a tooth already? crazy!
