Ok first of all slow down Gio! Stop trying to be a big boy all the time! What are u up to these days???
-walking...then pretty much running in every direction. play, play play all day long. Slides you still slowly go down them bc you stick your foot out and control your descent, lol
You won't go swimming in your little pool, you love bath times but no pool time.
-talking ur own language and then some all day long
-eating comes and goes. Somedays r good others u rather be playing.
-one nap a day, sometimes 2 but very seldom, u somehow managed to wean yourself from that 2nd nap
-ur sign language is getting better and communicating with us.
- 3 enforced timeouts, other times ur given a warning and then u stop. U recently put yourself in timeout after u bit abuelita, she told u she was goin to put u in timeout and u ran to the corner and kept peeking glances back at her. After a while u ran over to her and gave her a big kiss. She said it was so funny and cute, but she couldn't bear to see u in the corner. Let's just say she won't be enforcing those rules. Oh well mommy will. Daddy just attacks back and threatens to send him to me, great! Bitin has def decreased but now he just squeezes really hard, oh well! I've been watching the duggars and the mom kindly talks to them when discipline is needed....yea I dont know about that but it did work once instead of raising my voice. I'm learning my enforcement ways right along with you!
-not ready for a sibling! We got a nice visit from Tio Danny, Madrina and Cousin Samantha! You were sleeping when they arrived by then Lil Sam had warmed up to us and was squeling and smiles everywhere! When u finally joined us you were not impressed, who was this baby being loud in your house with your toys! You share everywhere else but when it came to your toys not so much! Eventually you and Sam had an understanding, you were going to stay clear of her and she was going to go everywhere, lol. Then while Sam was eating you helped by giving her sippy cup to Madrina and any other time you made sure she had her cup, good job gio! Hydration is very important, lol. Sam loved being near you, she is so cute and is another Lil one who needs to stop growing up so fast. Eventually both of y'all were tired and off to nite nite! Sam did a great job of tiring u out! Can she come over everyday?
YOu finally played with Tio Danny, who used to scare you away, lol-gymboree class is going very well, everyday you advance a little more! You are no longer shy when it comes to gymbo and run to the teacher when group time occurs! Great investment on our part!
-everyday you look more and more like ur daddy in his kiddo pics! The resemblance is precious! I am still in denial and will always be bc you look just like me ppl just don't know!!!
-when we come home from work you run over Hi mama papa over and over! Very nice welcome!
-nursing is going strong, altough you refuse your bottle now, so u just wait till i get home, thankfully we do not nurse as frequently and sometimes I can distract you to do play, but for sure nighttime is needed. I think I mentioned this before but you get very happy when about to nurse or get very needy and babish..when waiting for me to get ready, or giggle, its crazy your whole persona changes, you get so happy, and i stop and you are not ready then you get crazy. Lately I have given you time limits and warn you as you get close and we say buh bye milkies which has helped transition you to stop without a fight. Good Job little one.
-Enjoyed Talon's 1st bday, you were overwhelmed with all you aunts and uncles, surrounding you, but you eventually calmed down once you got your space. you and talon ignored each other than were fighting and pushing each other, calm down kiddos. jeez!
-went to hermann park saturday afternoon and you walked the whole way, your cheeks were flushed but you kept going, we finally had to pick u up, to go home. Let's just say you slept very good that nite.
-little model, we are slowly taking out clothes that we bought here and there and bring some out once in a while, we recently took out a ralph lauren blazer that is so cute, not ready for it just yet
-Nite's after vacay were a little hectic. But we are back on track now, only thing is, we are going on vacay again to Dallas this weekend, so excited to see Grimmetts and Mckie's. Hopefully Danette can meet up with us as well.
-Recognizing characters in books, so much fun reading with you!
